Law and Policy Lab

The Law and Policy Lab at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is interested in how the law intervenes in decision making. Headed by Eve Brank, a team of graduate and undergraduate researchers use various psychological theories to investigate different areas of law and public policy.

Eve Brank, JD, PhD

I am an Aaron Douglas professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the Law-Psychology and Social and Cognitive programs of the Psychology Department with a courtesy appointment at the College of Law. I am also the Director at the Center for Children, Families, and the Law, the Co-Director of the Faculty-led Inquiry into Reflective and Scholarly Teaching (FIRST, formerly Peer Review of Teaching Project) and the Faculty Advisor for the Scientific Resources for the Law (SRL) programs here at the university.

Currently, I serve as the chair of the Fellows Committee of the American Psychology-Law Society (Division 41 of APA) and the Coeditor of  Court Review.
