I received my B.A. and my M.Ed. in counseling psychology from the University of Oklahoma in Norman and am a graduate student in the clinical law and psychology program.  I am currently the student psychological consultant for the Weibling Project on Psycholegal Discrimination.
My work with the Weibling Project involves psychological consultation and research regarding emotion regulation and experience of discrimination.  The purpose of this research is to look at the relationship between stigma, mental illness, and the impacts of discrimination.  Specifically, I am examining the role of social anxiety and emotion regulation and how these interact with experiences of discrimination.  I feel this research will help give more understanding to the perspectives of marginalized groups and their experiences in workplace and society.
