Assistant Professor of Practice Psychology

I received my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2011, following my completion of a child psychology internship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. My research and clinical interests lie broadly in the field of early childhood assessment, behavioral pediatrics, and trauma informed care. I am particularly interested in the dissemination of evidence-based treatments and prevention strategies aimed at promoting resiliency and mitigating risk among children and families affected by violence or poverty.
