Jessica Stinson

Jessica Stinson, MA

Jessica is a 4th-year graduate student in the CPTP program at UNL. Her broad research interests include the study of serious mental illnesses (SMI). More specifically, she is interested in the identification of risk factors and understanding the development of SMI. Jessica is particularly interested in utilizing neuropsychological assessment measures to study emotion-cognition relationships and related aspects of social functioning in this population. Jessica also has interests in the development and implementation of interventions for individuals experiencing SMI, including app-based mobile interventions.

Jessica graduated from Susquehanna University in 2012 with a BS in Psychology. Upon graduation, she served as a group activities therapist in a partial hospitalization program, followed by a 3-year position as a research assistant with the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Division of Psychiatric Services Research.

Jessica is currently working as a neuropsychology extern at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital.
