Robert Belli, Ph.D

Dr. Belli is Professor of Psychology and Director of the Survey Research and Methodology program at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.   He served as the North American Editor of Applied Cognitive Psychology from 2004-2009. Dr. Belli’s research interests center on eyewitness memory, autobiographical memory, and the role of memory processes in survey response.  Drawing from his extensive work in the area of misinformation and false memory (see Relevant Publications), Dr. Belli has established the BRAiN laboratory to investigate individual differences in suggestibility and uncovering their neurological bases.
