Cultural Evaluation of Alcohol-Related Sexual Aggression

We are currently undergoing a large study investigating cultural differences in sexual aggression.  This research investigates how instigating triggers (e.g., sexual rejection) influences impelling forces (e.g., attitudes, norms) and dis/Inhibiting forces (e.g, alcohol) on sexual aggression. We are specificaly interested in examining decision-making processes (probability testing and trace processing) that interact with alcohol and other impelling forces.  Our second goal is to develop individual risk profiles that would help us develop personalized feedback on sexual aggression risk among male binge drinkers. We are currently testing student in the Philippines and the US.
