Emily is currently a first year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Training Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her clinical and research interests include risk factors associated with intergenerational transmission of trauma, evidence-based treatments for trauma exposure, and risk and resilience in foster care populations.
Emily graduated from Texas Tech University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. While completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as a Research Assistant in a Parent- Child Interaction Therapy lab, as well as a Pediatric Health lab on campus. After graduation, Emily spent a year working at a local foster care agency.
