Kelsey is currently a second year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Training Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her clinical and research interests include the emotional and behavioral functioning of abused and neglected children, factors associated with risk and resilience, and evaluating clinical interventions. She currently works as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant at Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders County, specifically with the Early Head Start Home-based program and Head Start school-based program. 

Kelsey graduated from West Virginia University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She worked in a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy lab, as well as a social psychology lab. During her time as a research assistant and as a Ronald E. McNair scholar, she conducted research that she presented at numerous state and national conferences. In addition, she was a teaching assistant for an undergraduate psychology course.
