Laboratory Facilities and Equipment
Our lab occupies a suite of rooms in the Center for Brain, Biology, and Behavior in the East Stadium on UNL's city campus. These rooms include space for our touchscreen monitor and sandbox as well as computer and video equipment. Also, as part of the Center for Biology, Brain, and Behavior, we have access to EEG equipment and can measure event-related potentials (ERP's).
Large touchscreen monitor
Much of our research uses simple computer games to measure spatial memory and/or attention in young children. Our large touchscreen allows even young children to play the games.
Sandbox
The sandbox allows us to test the spatial memory of children as young at 20 months of age.
