Friday April 12th, please join us at 5:30pm in the Morrill Hall Auditorium for a screening of local nature photographer Michael Forsberg’s film Follow the Water and a Q&A session with Mr. Forsberg. The film will be followed by a reception and an opportunity to explore the museum, including a guided tour of the new exhibit space Cherish Nebraska. This event is sponsored by the Department of Child, Youth and Family Studies.
Photographer and author Michael Forsberg along with filmmaker Pete Stegen set out on an extensive 1,300 mile adventure across three different states, journeying through the Platte Basin Watershed. Follow the Water is an NET documentary showing the connection between people, the environment, and the river itself. Forsberg and Stegen traveled 55 days from the headwaters of the North Platte in Wyoming, all the way down to the mouth of the Platte where it flows into Missouri."
