James Kyle Haws is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Training Program at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Broadly, Kyle is interested in the long-term impact of chronic traumatic events, occurring early in life, that result in disturbances of self-organization and impairments in daily functionality.

Kyle graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2016 with his Master’s in Experimental Psychology. During his pre-UNL life, Kyle completed his thesis examining physiological evidence for posttraumatic growth and examining the utility of using a dimensional approach for diagnosing, assessing, and treating psychopathology.
