Graduate Mentoring

Prospective graduate students should feel free to contact Dr. DiLillo with any questions at ddilillo@unl.edu.

Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Undergraduate research assistants (RAs) are an integral and valued part of the Trauma, Violence, & Abuse research team. RAs attend regular team meetings, assist in project development, and participate in data collection, entry, and analysis. RAs are also strongly encouraged to contribute to posters or papers presented at regional and national conferences.

Undergraduate RAs may receive course credit for their work in the lab, through Psyc 299 or 499 (Independent Study in Psychology). The University's Undergraduate Creative Activities & Research Experiences Program (UCARE) also provides a way for selected undergraduates to earn a stipend and develop an independent research project while working in the lab. Those interested in joining the research team should contact Dr. DiLillo at ddilillo@unl.edu. We are looking for highly motivated, responsible, detail-oriented students. Psychology majors thinking of going on to graduate school in psychology are preferred, as are students willing to make a 2-semester commitment. No prior research experience is necessary. The position requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week; hours are flexible.
