Tim started in the Clinical Psychology Training Program at UNL in the fall of 2017.
Before coming to UNL, he earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kansas. Here he worked with Dr. Brian Cole in the Applied Masculinities and Positive Psychology lab. Prior to his Master’s, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University while working with Dr. Terry Cronan in her Health Outcomes Studies lab.  Tim’s research interests include a blend of PTSD, substance use, and masculinity. He hopes to extend these interests in the future by working with active military personnel and their family, emergency services workers (firefighters, police, first responders, medics) and veterans. Tim is currently on his APA accredited internship through the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System where he provides services through the Substance Use Treatment and Recovery (STAR) clinic.
