Lab Manager
The NMB Lab is currently seeking qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate scientists for a full-time Lab Manager position. The successful applicant will take a key role in maintaining a basic neuroscience and behavior laboratory which uses a range of cutting edge approaches to understand natural, alcohol and drug reward and abuse.
Duties will include lab management, active contributions to the studies in the lab, and maintaining the daily operation of the laboratory. The term of employment is for 2 years, with a possible extension with satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
Applicants must have an Associate's degree in neuroscience, biology, biological psychology, pharmacology or related field plus one year of lab experience. A Bachelor's degree in the above field is preferred.

Undergraduate Research Opportunties
Thinking about applying to graduate, medical or professional school? Looking for significant research experience using basic neuroscience approaches? Our undergraduate students represent a wide range of backgrounds including biology, neuroscience and psychology. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Wakabayashi (kwakabayashi2@unl.edu). Include in this email why you are interested, your major, and what year you are in college. The type of research conducted in the lab requires at least a 2-semester or (1 semester/summer) commitment. There are additional opportunities including writing an honors thesis, UCARE project, Fyre project, or McNair scholarship.
