Taylor Petty (Wornica) graduated in 2016 from the University of Evansville with a B.S. in psychology. During her undergraduate career, Taylor was a laboratory manager in Dr. Margaret Stevenson’s Psychology and Law Laboratory, where she assisted Dr. Stevenson in her mock trial research exploring juror’s reactions to false confessions. Taylor’s independently conceived undergraduate research explored extralegal factors that predicted child custodial decisions, including tattoos, decision maker gender, and a parent’s history of mental illness. Currently Taylor is focusing on juvenile probation officer's decision making, attempting to determine what factors predict probation decisions. Taylor enjoys spending time with her newly wedded husband Morgan, reading, solving puzzles, and watching Netflix.
