Graduate students in the Psychology Department at UNL may apply for research funding through Warden and RAC resources. Both sources offer up to $500 per student per year, depending on availability of funds. Certain budget items—such as payment for data entry or computer programming services—are not eligible for funding. Any equipment purchased becomes the property of the department or program that funded it. Note that Warden funds cannot be used for both travel and research in the same funding period (e.g., September–January), while RAC research funds are independent of travel and may be requested simultaneously. Once approved, research awards are posted directly to the student’s account. For complete details, students should refer to the RAC/Warden Policies and the Graduate Student Handbook.
