Graduate students in the Psychology Department may apply for travel funding through Warden and RAC resources. Warden funds are available to all graduate students, while RAC funds are reserved for Clinical Psychology students. Warden funds support one conference per year (October 1–September 30) and are limited to first authors. Awards typically range from $225–$500, depending on available funding. RAC funds allow Clinical students who are first or second authors to apply for multiple trips, with a yearly cap of $600. Once approved, travel awards are posted to the student’s account within 3–4 weeks. Before traveling, students must file a Pre-Trip Request and purchase travel insurance via the Student Field Trip link on UNL’s Risk Management website. For complete details, students should refer to the RAC/Warden Policies and the Graduate Student Handbook.
