Where did you complete your training?

I received my B.A. in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I then received my M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan. The emphasis of my training in psychology was applied social, community, and health.

What are you currently teaching?

This semester I am teaching a course entitled Women, Gender, and Science. Next year, I hope to teach either Psychology of Gender or Health Psychology.

What is one interesting thing about yourself?

I love mystery novels! I have an entire (very large) bookshelf dedicated to the topic o mystery/crime. I read all mystery and crime genres, but I particularly like Scandinavian crime fiction and cozy mysteries. I think this passion stems from my obsession with Nancy Drew when I was growing up.
