Sarah Evans, Ph.D. is a 2011 graduate of the UNL Clinical Psychology Training Program and a licensed psychologist in the State of Nebraska. Following her graduate training at UNL, Dr. Evans completed her post-doctoral internship and fellowship training in the Section of Developmental and Behavioral Sciences at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She then served as a staff psychologist in the Trauma Treatment Program at Children's Mercy and as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UMKC School of Medicine. Since returning to Lincoln in June 2015, Dr. Evans has worked as a pediatric psychologist at Complete Children's Health, PC.
Dr. Evans clinical and research interests are in parent-training and management of early childhood behavior problems, the assessment and treatment of trauma and stress-related disorders, the role of adverse child events and poverty as determents of lifelong functioning, and the assessment and intervention of neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism, ADHD).
