Alumna Corrie Day is currently a 1L at Nebraska Law. She graduated May 2021 aftering majoring in psychology and serving as a CAS Student Ambassador and New Student Enrollment Orientation Leader.

"There's no way I would be here without the Psychology Department!" she said. "After taking PSYC 100, I was realized how well psychology and law meshed together and began to pursue my dreams in law- I went straight to Oldfather Hall to add a pre-law emphasis on my major as soon as I finished the class. In addition, I had so much help from the psychology advisors over my four years in undergrad, and they always helped steer me towards classes that would prepare me for law school while nurturing my passions.

"I loved how personable the Psychology Department was! You could really email or go to any professor with questions and they would be happy to help. There was never a dumb question or bad idea whenever I was there—and I had a lot of both! The Psychology Department is a place where you can really be yourself and also learn about a wonderful area of Arts and Sciences!"
