Faculty Spotlight: Manda Williamson

Before coming to Nebraska, Dr. Williamson received her B.A. in Psychology from Lock Haven University. She then pursued an M.S. in Psychology and her Ph.D. in Psychobiology from Pennsylvania State University where her dissertation was focused on visual-vestibular adaptation.

Dr. Williamson has been the instructor for multiple PSYC classes including PSYC 181: Introduction to Psychology. She has been recognized multiple times by both the Association of Students at UNL and the Association of Parents at UNL as the “Outstanding Educator of the Year”.

Dr. Williamson says that her favorite part of her job is “interacting with students and watching them grow”.
